Ligocki announces that he will be holding a dental implant open house at his dental practice on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012, from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. During the event patients will receive free consultations and X-rays and have their questions about dental implants answered.

Dental implants replace teeth from the root to the tooth surface. Implants consist of three parts: an artificial root, a connector, and an artificial cosmetic tooth. Dr. Ligocki offers various dental implant options, including single implants, multiple implants, and full mouth restoration. While removable dentures and dental bridges usually require frequent adjustments and replacements after an average of five years, dental implants are a lifetime solution. Government To Review Procedure To Expedite Registration Of ...

KUANTAN ? The government is to facilitate and expedite the registration of nurseries without the need for the prior approval of technical agencies so long as they meet the minimum standard set by the Social Welfare Department, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today.

Najib, who is also minister of women, family and community development, said the review of the registration procedure was most necessary to ensure that more nurseries could be opened in the future.

?So long as a nursery meets the standard requirements, its registration can be approved so that it can start operating,? he said at the launch of the Astro Kasih Knowledge Zone programme at the Sultanah Hajah Kalsom Children?s Home in Penor, near here.

Nursery operators must now obtain the approval of the technical agencies, such as the local authority, health department and fire & rescue department before the nurseries can registered by the social welfare department.

Najib said that under the new initiative, 372 new nurseries could be registered, bring their total number to 1,767.

?All these nurseries will benefit almost 53,000 children throughout the country who will receive quality and wholesome early childhood education and care,? he said.

Also present at the event were Najib?s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor; Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob; Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Senator Heng Seai Kie and Astro chairman Tun Zaki Tun Azmi.

Najib also said that the government allocated RM10 million for providers of early childhood education centres to open new nurseries of quality so that the other children were given the opportunity to develop just like the more fortunate.

?Through this initiative, the government expects to be able to help set up 1,000 new nurseries at the rate of RM10,000 per nursery to benefit almost 30,000 children beginning next year,? he said.

He also said that under the Astro Kasih Knowledge Zone programme, Astro provided a B.yond decoder and its installation and a monthly subscription of a family package free of charge to all welfare homes registered with the social welfare department.

Astro would also set up a reading corner with reading material at 24 children?s welfare centres throughout the country, he added. ? BERNAMA

Obama Approval Rating Jumps Before Election Day - Business Insider

President Barack Obama has seen his approval ratings rise in multiple polls over the past week, putting him in a good position with Election Day right around the corner.?

Typically, Gallup has found, incumbent presidents with 50 percent approval ratings or above are easily re-elected for a second term. Obama has reached or neared that level in a few national polls and national tracking polls this week.

Perhaps the most significant swing came in the right-leaning Rasmussen poll, in which Obama's approval-to-disapproval split now stands at 51-49. Last Sunday, the split was 47-52. In total, that's a meaningful 7-point swing. Moreover, the number of voters who "strongly approve" of the president has also jumped 7 points since just Tuesday.

The left-leaning Public Policy Polling also found a big lift for Obama ? though his approval still sits below 50 percent. In what was a brutal poll for the president last Sunday, his approval-to-disapproval was 44-52. It's now 48-47, an incredible 9-point swing.

Other polls have displayed the same trend, though it's more subdued movement. In Fox News' latest poll through last Tuesday, for example, Obama's approval rating was up 2 points to 51 percent when compared to a previous poll from three weeks ago. The Washington Post and ABC News tracking poll also displays a slight, 2-point shift from Oct. 25.

It's unclear how much this is a result, if at all, of the president's response to Superstorm Sandy ? a WaPo/ABC poll last week found that nearly 80 percent of voters approved of his handling of the aftermath. Either way, though, Obama's approval rating is ticking up to good historical precedents at exactly the right time ? two days before voters choose between him and Republican Mitt Romney at the polls.

Romney seizes on uptick in unemployment rate

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) ? Mitt Romney says the one-tenth-of-a-point increase in the unemployment rate to 7.9 percent is, quote, "a sad reminder that the economy is at a virtual standstill."

The Republican presidential nominee says voters will decide Tuesday between what he calls stagnation and prosperity.

He made the comments in a statement while traveling from Norfolk, Va., to Milwaukee, to continue campaigning in the final days of the White House race.

Romney argues that President Barack Obama's policies have crushed America's middle class, and that the nation can do better. He's also promising to make real changes that will lead to a real recovery.
